除夕~~~
讲到除夕，一定离不开团圆饭了
华人最重视除夕了。。。
每年的除夕团圆饭，
我们一家人都会到婆婆家聚餐
婆婆一定会准备各式各样的美味佳肴~~~

~~SAMBAL 虾~~

~~无椰浆加哩鸡~~

~~HOMEMADE 春卷~~

~~烧肉~~

除此之外，

妈妈也煮了甜汤

妈妈说喝了甜汤，

在新的一年里事事顺利。。。

甜而不苦的白果，

粉粉的莲子

再加上红枣，白木耳和龙眼

真的是一级棒噢~~~~

爱心汤，大牌档是无法媲美的

到了除夕夜，

也就是初一凌晨，

我们到青云亭拜拜。。。

希望在这新的一年里，菩萨保佑~~~

Ready FOR TiGer YEAR!!!

Two more days....is TiGer YEar.....which is my year! hehe!

Only a few chinese come to school 2day~~~

And I wonder why myself can be one of the last person to go back~~~

No choice~~~ I have to wait for my brother as my dad forced me to sit flight~~~

Too excite now~~~ waiting for time to go airport....HUHU!

Tis year is the most special year, as I get myself ready to celebrate and welcome Tiger Year~~~

Hoping that in my own year, I can shun shun li li especially in my study......

May luck be with me always....

On Wednesday, my mum gave a call and told me that tiger must wear red colour in the first day of tiger year!!!

Panic betul when heard tis as I didn't buy any red dress...

I hate last min shopping !

Cos LAST MIN SHOPPING either no size, no nice clothes or KInda EXPENSIVE!

So, yesterday morning, I asked 2 of my frenz to accompany me to go search for red clothes~~

By rushing into Queensbay Mall, we searched for around 1 hour, and tat time I still thinking my mission might fail~~~ As we walked the whole south wing with empty hand.

But then, luckily, I manage to find a shop name GEB with lots of red dress~~~

Tried around 10 dress....

Finally i manage to choose sumthg nice as below~~~

Heart broken when bought tis dress~~~~

Around RM90+ after less....

Fortunately, mum paid half~~~ wakaka! but still I still internal bleeding....

So Hoping that tis ONG dress really bring ONG to me

Gournmet Bakwa that I bought in QB as required by my dad~~~

Bakgua is really expensive loh....300g around rm 38

As I said, I get myself ready for tiger year!

Last weekend, I change my new bedsheet in my Penang's House

And my baby also put on new clothes~~~ HUHU!

New pencil case I bought at Sunshine Square last week!

Tomorrow is Chinese New Year Eve loh......

My grandma will be cooking different varieties of food such as curry chicken, duck, fish, lok bak and others~~~

My first journal in my life, is published in Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry~~~~

Although I am just second author, my effort is there..... so whAt is my feeling now? cannot be expressed~~~~ MIxed feeling...haha

Remember the time and energy I Spended in discussing with both of my supervisor and co-supervisor for correction.... and I have to contribute my raya holiday by bringing tonnes of journal back home for editting.... It is just like happening yesterday~~~~

Not forgetting also, to thanks my both supervisor for their endless comments and guidelines, my parent for their corroboration, and concern from my dear friends

So... Hope for the best......Hope to own a journal whose I am the first author

GRAnt aPPROvED!!!

Last week, I received a letter from USM Research Creativity And Management Office....

Before I opened, my heart beat started to get irregular, and quite curious what that letter concern???

Izzit I kena FIRE? or my grant get REJECTED? or my fellowship get TERMINATED?

BUT then at that moment, I still hoping something is good from that letter~~~~

"Sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa Universiti telah meluluskan permohonan geran penyelidikan puan......"

Woh~~~~ Although sometimes I hate to write this sentence whenever I have to write formal letter..... but then tis sentence is just so fantastic and AMAZING, and also nice to read~~~~

I feel so hepi and almost become "dancing queen" in the lab........

Without wasting time, I rush to my boss's room to tell her this good new....

she was very hepi too

She told me i will handle and "jaga" my own grant.......AND of course I will be the one who signing PO loh.....

My boss is really correct.....

She told me before "Things that you gained with your own effort, you will be super duper hepi and feel satisfacted"

Allrite, with this grant, I can continue my research without any worriness!!!!.

Wish myself good luck in my PhD study, hope to pass with flying colour and graduate in time without disappointing my dearest DadDY and MUMMY~~~~

外公，虽然您已经离开我们快要半年了，
但我们每一个人都好想念好想念您，
非常非常的不习惯，
但我们都把它收在心里啦，因为我们都想外婆高兴~~~~~~
不管在人间还是在天堂，您都这么的关心我们，
永远都是我们的守护天使！
外公，您在天堂哈好吗？

我们最敬爱的外公因食道管癌在2009 年8月28日， 离开了我们！
虽然我们都很不舍得您，但看到您因生病而这么辛苦。。。。

12月跟妈妈爸爸到云顶，进到赌场，就想念您，
和我们一块最后一次到云顶去，赢了钱，还请我们大吃一顿~~~~
您看到我们开心，您最高兴了~~~~~

所以我们也将会好好的生活，因为我们高兴，在天堂的您更更加的开心咯~~~

There are many shops selling souvenir nearby, 5 mins walk from Tune Hotel.....not forgetting also the most famous Street, Indian Street which take about 15 mins from the hotel.

Overall, the location of this hotel is ideal.......

(Cafe, pub, Bukit Merah Seafood, souvenir shops, and cinema are nearby and can just go around by walking)

Cheese Laye Cake......This is extremely delicous and nice with fantastic and thick layer of sliced cheese. Only RM14. Worth it......Must try

Sisip ikan kek lapis~~~the taste is still ok. I like the art of this cake. Sarawak is always famous of kek lapis and kek batik~~~ RM 15
