Birthday CeleBratioN @ SMoky JacK RiBs and SteAK House, Upper Penang ROad

Last week, My schoolmates and I managed to grab some of our lunch time to have a wonderful lunch at Smoky Jack Ribs and Steak House, which located at Upper Penang Road, Penang.

Well, if you ask me how many stars I rate this place….I guess I will rate 4 stars…… The environment here is so nice. The decoration and design is so special and unique……
One of my friend said this place is just like jungle…hmmm. True also. As silent as in a jungle….The feeling is really different.

Food here is delicious. Meanwhile, this steak house offers food with reasonable price. Their set lunches are worth to eat.

Thier set lunch included drink + appetizer (soup of the day / salad) + main course + dessert. Differenr set with different price.

Tadaaa!~~~~ Our main purpose is to celebrate Hui Tin's birthday. We bought her a cheese cake from Sunflower Bakery. THis cheese cake is awesome too~~~ Happy Birthday once again, Hui TIn.

A DatE with Max!

This is Annie and her forever lover, Max.

So, what is your opinion towards Max?..... cute? Gigantic? Scary?

Everybody so shock when saw this photo…... and their responds were
“ Ah Max grow so big liao? Ooh gosh, Max’s head is bigger than Annie liao” (Cliff, 2010)
“I scare” (Papa, 2010)
“ Wah its so cute, size gam gam can hug, wer to buy it ar, I like this size dog” (Nyok Ling, 2010)

Hence, last Thursday, Annie arranged her time and brought Max out to date with us at Botanical Garden. When we saw Max, we non-stop calling “ Max! Max! Max!” and keep on molest him….haha.We kept on touching his fur…. His fur is so nice….. and Cliff said Max’s fur is just like Maggie Mee. Indeed, this is really a fact! Naturally curve fur, no perm is needed. And one thing, his fur is so padat….. so thick!

Max is much much more tiny compare with the one which captured by Lai Mei in the photo…. Papa said the photo misleading us…. Lai Mei, kidding only loh!
So, we walked a big round with Max in Botanical garden… Max is so guai and obedient! He listened to every instruction by Annie. And, he is English educated neh!

Last Friday, while I was having lunch with Annie, she told me that Max was so miserable that day. She said Max every time after cut his fur, he will definitely no mood to eat, lazy to walk and play around. Perhaps, Max is just like me also, he loves his fur so much! Of course, I love my HAIR too…..Max is so emotional….

Annie also told me she felt so pity with Max as she is going back to workforce community tomorrow. So, nobody accompany Max during day time. She said Max will definitely sit in front of the door and wait for her to come back…. The feeling of waiting~~~ only Max know.......Pity, Max~~~~

Sushi King Bonanza @ Queensbay Mall and E-gate, Penang

Woh~~~ Sushi king Bonanza was back again!!!!!
Sushi Time! All sushi with rice on the belt only RM2

So, many will ask how popular sushi king bonanza in Penang???
I can tell you surely, Penangite are sushi lover~~~~
They don’t mind in Q-ing-up, for long period, just to eat RM2 sushi
And the way they eat sushi is not “polite” also!
Whenever those famous rice sushi such as unagi, salmon, ebiko and other out from the kitchen, they preparing to “rebut” ~~~~

I love sushi~~~

I felt so surprised last year during my first time experience having my sushi bonanza in Penang.
While I am sharing my experience with my “daddy” Hong Chang through MSN, he told me that Sarawakian are more polite~~~ Perhaps Penangite are really sushi lovers!
So, on that day, our schoolmates, TC, whose own a sushi king card, told us to get ready and had to reach Queensbay Mall by 10.30am! Because of him, we sit on at a strategic place where go not need to stand up to “rebut” for sushi~~~ what an enjoyable moment I had with my schoolmates!
Then, after I back from Queensbay Mall, my twins, Rachael asked me to go sushi again! OMG, my dinner for the same day was also sushi! Twins, papa and me went to sushi king at E-gate~~~

SpeCially dedicated 2 My deaREst eLdesT BroTHeR

This is just like happening yesterday….
When dad and mum brought us to KLIA 5 years ago!
5 years time~~~ not short and not too long……
I understand that the road to become a medical student is not easy…..
Road is not always smooth~~~

And will be getting “DR” on this Oct~~~
I guess mum and dad will be proud of you,
And so do I, Wu and Zhi.
And also not forgetting our grandma,
She will be happy to see the first doctor in Tan family

Mum surely will cry in the convo hall
As ah Zhi told me mum drop tears
While inside the hall during my graduation ceremony!
I guess so do I …..

LanGkAWi TRIp...

Well, it has been a long long time for not updating my blog~~~

quite busy with my study recently.
However, I feel guilty for not updating my blog
Hmmmm….. Lots of stories are still in the pending to share with all of you~~~

Let me start with my Langkawi trip on the early of March. This is actually school trips, which suppose to be held last year. At the end, only 7 of us join this trip. I enjoyed this trip so much with my gang: My so-called gor gor, Chun Hoong; gor gor’s girl frenz; desmond; our boss, Thuan Chew; my best buddy from China, Ling Yun and also my labmates, Fadzirul.
We started our journey by sitting about 2 hours of ferry from Kuala Kedah Port. Upon reaching there, gor gor , TC and fadzirul busy settle our 3 days transportation, accommodation, and also our activities. They are really good organizers.

After we checked in, we visit Langkawi most famous cable car and hanging bridge. Technology used in constructing the cable car and the bridge is really awesome! I love to walk on the hanging bridge…. Although is really scary, (as the bridge is shaking due to strong wind) I like to challenge myself by walking on it. A very nice experience…….

Second day, we spend most our time in KILIM Geoforest park… It is worth to join the boat tour in this park. We visited the fish farm firstly. Gained lots of knowledge here……
Then, we proceed to crocodile crave and eagle feeding place….nothing special at the crave as no crocodile there. Eagles here is really wild….very typical!

Next, is our fish feeding time~~~ this is the time where our boss, TC waiting for huhu…… The boat driver brought us to the sea and then he stopped the boat. TC asked us to thrown bread into the sea…..
TC : Ok…….throw the bread la
Me: Here? Where are those fishes?
TC: Nah!….tis is the question I asked the driver when I came last time. The ppl just told me “ throw la, throw la”
TC said fished will come when I throw the bread
Hmmmm…that time I still doubt…but then no choice, cant see any fishes, so just try my luck!
Surprisingly, when I thrown bread into the sea……school of fishes cum~~~~ feel so happy when looking at them~~~ swim here and there in a school!

After the geoforest park….we managed to go a few shopping complex to survey chocolates, cigarettes, beers and wines~~~ Well, visit Langkawi without bringing back all those stuff, is just like feel so sorry to myself. Haha!

The last day, before we went back to Penang, we visited Langkawi Underwater World. Worth to pay the ticket for the entrance. Gor gor enjoyed looking at fishes here. He said even ask him to work there without paid, he is willing also. We managed follow all the shows. Really fantantic!

Those fishes behind are really big, huge and gigantic! And very old also~~

Underwater World is a place should never miss when go to Langkawi! For your information, the workers in the underwater world park feed the fishes with spirulina! Woh…is really unbelievable! Spirulina is rich of protein, and very expensive too! I knew this as I cultured spirulina during my FYP undergrad project~~~~ one litre of spirulina can only produce more and less 1g of dried spirulina…..fishes there really ho mia~~~ No wonder they so healthy and leng….haha.
